AUDIO/VIDEO ON DEMAND INTERPRETATION SERVICES

In addition to our telephonic interpretation we offer on-demand video interpretation services in American Sign Language and more than 20 foreign languages. These services are very popular in healthcare and other industries where the demand for sign language interpreters exceeds their availability.

It's an innovative way to bring an American Sign Language interpreter right into a hospital room or doctor's office. The audio/video equipment that is used meets the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) communication accommodation requirements. It's a timely, effective and reasonable method for delivering a certified interpreter to a deaf person upon request. In an emergency situation, a video mobile unit can have an interpreter "in the room" or "at the bedside" within minutes.

As you know, on-site interpreters take time to arrive and they often charge a minimum of two hours. With video interpreting you pay a modest monthly subscription fee for the use of the equipment and standby capability we provide, and then you pay only for the interpreting time you actually use. The average interpretation session using video is only 15 minutes.
